Keeping our Neighborhood Beautiful!

This is the official newsletter of the Chelsea Ridge Homeowners Association. The staff hopes you enjoy the newsletter and, as more issues are released, will join in the fun of producing the “information highway” for the community.

We have noticed over the summer that many of our residents have taken the time to replace sod, replace roofs,  clean and repair sidewalks and trim and fertilize their lawns.  A special thanks to all of you who spent time to make sure our neighborhood stays as beautiful as the day you moved in. If your home is one of the homes that could still use some real TLC,  and you are pressed for time or have a limited budget, please check out the maintenance companies listed on our Neighborhood Services page on this website.  We have included several that offer services at a reasonable rate.  Please contact the webmaster to recommend any company you have used that has offered a great service for a great price.  We'll add those as well to help with the clean up.  As the fall arrives be careful of the new children playing in our neighborhood and we wish all of you a safe and happy "fall ahead."

Chelsea Ridge Fall Festival

We are planning  our Fall Festival for Chelsea Ridge residents and their families. Bring mom and dad, the kids, everyone is welcome to our special fall party. The Homeland Security Van will be on the Chelsea Ridge Property to meet with many of you and offer safety tips. For the kids, we will have a bouncy house available for jumping fun! Everyone is encouraged to provide treats such as cookies, and special dessert items. We'll provide the beverage. The date is Saturday, October 23, 2010. The time is 1PM to 4PM. We look forward to meeting many of you at the festival and we'll make a special effort to invite our newest neighbors as well to meet many of you.  Please mark your calendars and make plans to join us on October 23rd.....

Trash Removal

Trash Removal
Trash pickup days for Chelsea Ridge Tuesday and Friday. Recycling is picked up on Tuesday.  Yard waste pickup is on Wednesday. Make sure that you don’t put trash out prior to the night before trash pickup and that trash cans are moved back out of sight before dark on the day of pickup. Trash should be put out in proper containers. Bags left at the curb are a magnet for stray animals that can tear the bags and make a mess of the neighborhood. If you must use bags, make sure they are not put out until trash day. All trash cans must be stored out of sight when not at the curb for pickup

Vehicles In The Neighborhood

Vehicles
Personal vehicles should be parked in the garage or driveway. No vehicle should ever be parked in front of driveways; parked the wrong way on the street; or be parked in front of mailboxes. Also, parking on a curve can be dangerous so should be avoided. Orange County Ordinance 250.70 dictates that there must be a minimum of 12’ of open road for free movement of vehicles. Vehicles parked directly across from each other, at intersections and curves can create a bottle-neck causing problems for residents and emergency vehicles. Orange County Ordinance 250.75 states that no vehicle over two (2) tons or having more than two (2) axles is allowed to be parked in any residential area. Thank you for your cooperation.
